Ratcliffe, Saskatchewan

I visited Ratcliffe in mid-February. The area was first settled in 1908, however the town had few services until the CP rail line was laid in 1926. Ratcliffe was always a small town and its time short-lived. The school was closed in 1958 and the post office in 1962. All that remains is the school, the teacher’s house, the community hall, an abandoned home, remnants of an elevator or granary, and a foundation.
