Location: South of Lewvan, Saskatchewan

Interesting facts:

– Pronghorns have a wide range of vision because their eyes are set back on their heads. They can spot predators up to six kilometres away.

93070021 – Sandy fur colours provide protection and camouflage with their grassland habitat.

– They are poor jumpers and will crawl under fencing rather than attempting to jump over it.

– Pronghorns are the fastest land animal in North America running up to 90-95 kilometres an hour. Although cheetahs are faster, Pronghorns have greater endurance than cheetahs.
